몸길이 76cm. 회갈색에 금속성 자줏빛 녹색 어깨 반점, 맨 회분홍색 얼굴 피부, 붉은색 부리 줄무늬. 사하라 사막 이남 아프리카 전역에 매우 흔하고 넓게 분포하며, 도시 공원과 정원을 점점 더 개척하고 있습니다. 잔디와 개활지에서 지렁이와 무척추동물을 먹습니다. 멀리 퍼지는 큰 울음소리로 알려져 있습니다.
