점박이도요: 18~20cm, 눈에 띄는 둥근 검은 반점이 흰 아랫면을 장식하며 번식 깃털을 가진 일반도요의 북미 상대종. 알래스카와 캐나다에서 번식하고, 남미 남쪽까지 이동한다. 번식기가 아닐 때는 반점이 없다.
