소개
소형 벌새로 체장 약 10cm이며, 수컷은 초록 몸통에 자주색 목과 갈색 꽁지를 갖는다. 페루 북부 고지대에 서식하는 희귀 고유종이다. 꽃의 꿀을 빨아 먹는다. 근접위협 종이다.

Endemic to a restricted area of the Andes in northern Peru (Cajamarca and Amazonas) at 2,600–3,800 m elevation.
Diet & Feeding
Nectarivore of northern Peruvian montane forest; visits Ericaceae and mossy shrub flowers. Supplements with small insects.
