소개

중간 크기의 메추라기로 체장 약 24cm이며, 밤색과 흰색 줄무늬가 있는 갈색 깃털을 갖는다. 마다가스카르 중부 고원 초지와 관목지에 서식하는 고유종이다. 씨앗과 곤충을 먹으며 주로 지면에서 생활한다. 관심 필요 종이다.
