소개

괌뜸부기는 태평양 마리아나 제도의 괌 섬에 서식했던 날지 못하는 뜸부기이다. 1980년대에 도입된 갈색나무뱀으로 인해 야생에서는 절멸하였으나 포획 사육 프로그램을 통해 보전되고 있다. 복원 프로그램을 통해 뱀이 없는 섬에 재도입 시도가 이루어지고 있다.
