서아프리카 전역의 사바나와 삼림에 서식하는 대형 투라코(50~54cm). 회색 깃털, 흰 얼굴, 볏이 특징적이며 특유의 'go-way' 울음소리로 알려져 있다. 열매와 꽃을 먹는 과식성이다.
