유럽산비둘기(Columba palumbus) — 40~42cm; 날개너비 75~80cm. 대형; 청회색; 흰 목 반점과 날개의 흰 띠가 뚜렷; 분홍빛 가슴. 유럽에서 중앙아시아까지 산림, 농경지, 공원에서 번식. 종자와 곡물, 도토리를 먹음. 무리를 이루며 이동; 유럽에서 가장 흔한 비둘기 중 하나.
