Habitat & Range

Endemic to Gunnison Basin and adjacent areas of southwestern Colorado. Found in sagebrush habitat. Critically endangered.

Highly dependent on sagebrush for winter foliage; eats forbs and invertebrates in spring and summer. Critically endangered.
