소개

이베리아 반도와 북서아프리카의 소나무 숲과 관목지에서 번식하고 사하라 이남 서아프리카에서 월동하는 대형 쏙독새(약 86 g). 황갈색 목 고리가 구북구 쏙독새 중 독특하다. 큰 소리로 리듬감 있는 'kutuk-kutuk' 소리를 낸다. 큰 나방을 먹는다. 서식지 훼손으로 준위협종이다.
