소개

사하라 이남 아프리카 삼림과 사바나에 널리 분포하는 중형 쏙독새(23-25 cm). 풍부한 갈색 몸통에 굵은 황갈색 목 고리가 특징이다. 길고 아름다운 '주여 구원하소서' 울음소리로 유명하다. 야행성 곤충 포식자이며 거주성이다.
