소개

아프리카 동부와 아라비아 반도의 건조한 관목지에 제한적으로 분포하는 소형 쏙독새(20-22 cm). 창백한 모래 빛 갈색 몸통에 섬세한 어두운 무늬를 가진다. 야행성으로 지면 위를 낮게 날아 곤충을 잡는다. 제한된 서식지로 준위협종이다.
