소개

서아프리카와 중앙아프리카 습한 사바나에 사는 특이한 쏙독새(22-28 cm). 번식기 수컷은 깃발처럼 넓적한 깃털이 달린 긴 첫째 날개 깃(최대 38 cm)을 발달시킨다. 야행성 곤충 포식자이며 아프리카 내 이동 철새다.
