소개

인도 아대륙에서 동남아시아와 일본에 걸쳐 삼림과 삼림 가장자리에 사는 중형 쏙독새(약 84 g). 회갈색과 황갈색의 암호화 무늬를 가진다. 황혼에 '척' 하는 독특한 소리를 낸다. 북방 개체군은 겨울에 남쪽으로 이동한다. 큰 나방과 딱정벌레를 먹는다. 최소관심종이다.
