소개

사하라 이남 아프리카 북부 사헬 관목지와 반사막 지역에 사는 금빛 황갈색 몸통의 독특한 쏙독새(23 cm). 다른 쏙독새와 달리 풍부한 황금빛 몸통과 굵은 황갈색 무늬를 가진다. 야행성 곤충 포식자로 개활지 위를 낮게 날아 딱정벌레와 나방을 잡는다.
