인도네시아 술라웨시 섬 고유의 중형 쏙독새(24-26 cm). 저지대와 산악 삼림에 산다. 어두운 갈색 보호색을 가진다. 야행성 곤충 포식자다. 제한된 서식지로 생태 정보가 부족하다.
