소개
히스파니올라 섬 고유의 참매로 심각한 멸종위기에 처해 있다. 작은 개체수와 제한된 서식지로 인해 가장 희귀한 맹금류 중 하나다. 삼림 서식지에서 생활하며 파충류와 소형 포유류를 먹는다. 주로 도미니카 공화국의 보호 지역 내에서만 발견된다.
