소개
마다가스카르 고유종인 참매로 다양한 삼림 서식지에 산다. 등 면은 갈색이고 배 면은 흰 바탕에 갈색 줄무늬가 있다. 카멜레온, 개구리, 곤충류를 포함한 다양한 먹이를 먹는 기회주의적 포식자다. 마다가스카르의 고유 참수리과 조류 중 가장 흔한 종이다.
