소개
버뮤다매는 17세기 초 섬에 사람이 정착한 직후 멸종된 버뮤다에 고유한 큰 매였습니다. 오직 아화석 뼈로만 알려져 있으며, 아마도 바닷새와 다른 섬 동물군을 먹이로 하는 넓은 날개 맹금이었을 것입니다. 서식지 파괴와 사냥이 멸종의 원인이었습니다.
