콜롬비아에서 페루까지 안데스 운무림 해발 1,000~2,500m에 서식하는 중형 벌새(9~10cm). 메탈릭 초록 윗면과 흰 아랫면이 특징이다. 꽃의 꿀과 작은 곤충을 먹는다.
