Ifritidae

Blue-capped Ifrit; a monotypic family containing only the Blue-capped Ifrit of New Guinea's montane forests. A small blue, white, and chestnut bird. Unusual in accumulating toxic batrachotoxins in its feathers and skin, derived from its diet of beetles. One of the world's few toxic birds.
