Rock Pigeon
The rock pigeon is the ancestor of all domestic pigeon breeds and one of the most abundant birds in cities worldwide. Medium dove, 29–33 cm, similar to Mourning Dove but larger with more rufous coloration. Endemic to Socorro Island, Revillagigedo Archipelago, Mexico.
