African River Martin
The African River Martin is a data-deficient swallow of the Hirundinidae family, with a wingspan of about 24 cm and a weight of 26 g. It is a poorly known species of the Congo River basin, roosting in vast numbers on sandy river islands during the dry season.

南ヨーロッパ・中東・中央アジアの岩場・崖に生息するツバメ（体長13〜15cm）。褐色の体と白い尾の窓が特徴。Ptyonoprogne rupestris（イワツバメ属）は崖面の岩の裂け目に泥の巣を作り、空中を素早く飛んで昆虫を捕食する。渡りをするものと留鳥として生活するものがある。Hirundinidae科。
