Atlantic White Tern
シロアジサシは体長28〜33 cm、翼幅76〜87 cm、霊妙な白色の海鳥で青灰色のくちばし・青みがかった眼輪・大きな暗色の瞳を持つ。大西洋の熱帯の島(アセンション島・セントヘレナ島など)に繁殖し、近縁種はインド・太平洋に広く分布。巣材なしで裸の枝に産卵。水面近くで小魚を捕食。
