European Shag
体長68〜78 cm、翼幅95〜110 cm。光沢のある緑色を帯びた全黒色;繁殖期には短い直立した冠羽;黄色い口角。厳密に海洋性で、西ヨーロッパと地中海の岩礁海岸に繁殖。澄んだ沿岸水域で潜水して魚を捕食。絶滅危惧種;石油流出と乱獲が脅威。
