The Black-billed Peppershrike is a stocky, large-headed vireo relative of Andean foothills in Colombia and Ecuador, distinguished from similar peppershrikes by its entirely dark bill. It feeds on large insects and caterpillars, deliberating gleaning prey from foliage with its stout, hooked bill.
