セントヘレナチドリ：15〜16 cm。南大西洋のセントヘレナ島固有の絶滅危惧チドリ。細い脚から地元では「ワイヤーバード」と呼ばれる。乾燥した亜麻と牧草地に限定。

Resident along large sandy rivers in central and eastern Africa from Nigeria to Mozambique. Feeds on invertebrates on exposed sandbars. Strongly associated with riverine habitat. Sedentary.
