Buller's Shearwater
全長46〜47cm、翼開長96〜99cm。特徴的な外観で、上面は暗色、翼上面にグレーがかった白いM字紋、下面は白く灰色の帽子状頭部を持つ。ニュージーランドのスネアーズ島とプアーナイツ島のみで繁殖。北太平洋へ渡る。準絶滅危惧；魚や烏賊を食べる群れを作る海鳥。
Balearic Shearwater
30–38 cm. Brown above; variably dirty-white to brown below; often shows brown smudging on flanks. Breeds only Balearic Islands, Spain. Critically Endangered with fewer than 3,000 pairs; faces extinction. Migrates to NE Atlantic; threatened by predators, fishing bycatch, and tourist development.
