Dark sooty-brown throughout; pale throat patch whitish-grey; underparts slightly paler; broadly similar to Common Swift but slightly larger and marginally paler below; widespread Sub-Saharan African species.
Ridgetop Swiftlet
Tiny swiftlet; glossy dark blue-green upperparts; pale buff rump band; dark sooty-brown underparts; slightly forked tail; recently described Philippine endemic; differs from congeners primarily in voice and ridge-top ridge habitat.
