Blue Crane
Blue Crane (Anthropoides paradiseus) is South Africa's national bird, standing 100–120 cm. Pale blue-grey overall; elongated inner wing feathers trail to the ground; pale head. Inhabits open dry grasslands and Karoo, not primarily wetlands.
Wattled Crane
ニクイボヅルはアフリカ最大のツルで体長120〜175cm。上面は灰色、白い頸；顎下に特徴的な長い羽毛を持つ白い肉垂。大型で浅いアフロ熱帯の湿地・氾濫草地・オカバンゴ型の生態系に生息する。危急；生存個体数は8,000羽以下。
