About These Birds
オオキボウシインコ
メキシコ太平洋岸と中央アメリカの乾燥林・マングローブに生息するオウム（体長37〜40cm）。全身黄色の頭部が最大の特徴で、緑色の体と対照的。Amazona oratrix（キガシラコンゴウインコ）は絶滅危惧種（IUCNレッドリスト危機的危惧種）で、生息地の破壊と違法ペット取引により個体数が急減している。Psittacidae科。

The Amazonian Parrotlet is a small parrot weighing about 42 g with a 16.4 cm wingspan, found in bamboo stands and riverside forest in western Amazonia. It moves in flocks, feeding on seeds and foraging within dense bamboo thickets.
