The Basra Reed-warbler is an Endangered warbler of the family Acrocephalidae that breeds in reed beds of southern Iraq and winters in East Africa. Its breeding range is severely restricted by the drainage of Iraqi marshlands, making it highly vulnerable to habitat loss.
