オーストラリア全土とニューギニアに分布する小〜中型のタカ（体長30〜36cm）。主に小型の鳥類を捕食し、森林から農地まで様々な環境に適応する。雄は上面が灰色、下面に赤褐色の縦縞。Accipiter cirrocephalus（コリンハウタカ）はオーストラリアで最もよく見られるタカ類の一つ。Accipitridae科。

The Black-mantled Goshawk is a medium-sized, compact hawk with a dark blackish back and mantle, pale gray underparts with fine rufous barring, and yellow cere and feet. It inhabits montane forests of New Guinea at elevations between 900 and 2,800 meters. It preys on small birds and lizards, pursuing them through the forest with agile, rapid flight.
