About These Birds

Arctic Warbler

The Arctic Warbler is a small migratory leaf warbler weighing about 11 grams with a wingspan near 13 cm, breeding across the boreal forests of Eurasia and western Alaska. It undertakes one of the longest migrations of any Old World warbler, wintering in Southeast Asia and the Philippines. Its pale supercilium and olive-green plumage are typical of Phylloscopus warblers in forested habitats.

Bianchi's Warbler

Bianchi's Warbler is a small leaf-warbler found in montane forests and shrubby hillsides in central and southwestern China. It has olive-green upperparts and a yellowish supercilium and underparts typical of leaf-warblers. It forages actively in the forest understorey and shrubs, gleaning insects from foliage.
