The Black-headed Bulbul is a medium-sized bulbul with glossy black head, vivid yellow-green body plumage, and a blue-gray orbital ring that gives it a distinctive expression. It inhabits lowland and submontane forests, forest edges, and secondary growth from the eastern Himalayas through mainland Southeast Asia to the Greater Sundas.
