Paramythiidae

Tit-berrypeckers; 2 species endemic to New Guinea's mountains—the Crested and Tit Berrypecker. Colorful, small birds of high-altitude montane forest and forest edge. Feed on berries and small insects. Males more brightly colored than females. Placed in their own family by molecular evidence.
