Small dove, 21–23 cm, brown overall with a grey crown and iridescent purple neck spots. Endemic to the Tawi-Tawi group in the southernmost Philippines and adjacent small islands. Inhabits lowland forest. Frugivore of small fruits. Vulnerable due to deforestation in the Sulu Archipelago.

Adamawa Turtle-dove

Medium dove, 27–30 cm, with warm rufous-brown upperparts, a black neck collar, and a deep orange-red breast. Endemic to the highland plateaus and montane grasslands of northern Nigeria and Cameroon. Granivore of grass seeds and cultivated grains. Poorly studied and localised range. Least Concern.
