Blue-tailed Imperial-pigeon (Ducula concinna), 43 cm. Dark green with a distinctive blue-grey tail; pale head and maroon-pink underparts. Found in the Moluccas and Tanimbar Islands. Inhabits coastal forest and small island forest. Frugivore. Near Threatened; island-hopping nomad sensitive to hunting.

Adamawa Turtle-dove

Medium dove, 27–30 cm, with warm rufous-brown upperparts, a black neck collar, and a deep orange-red breast. Endemic to the highland plateaus and montane grasslands of northern Nigeria and Cameroon. Granivore of grass seeds and cultivated grains. Poorly studied and localised range. Least Concern.
