Tibetan Sandplover: 17–19 cm, compact high-altitude plover with a rufous-orange breast-band, black forehead patch, and short bill. Breeds on rocky alpine tundra and high plateaus of the Tibetan highlands and Himalayan ranges; winters on coastal mudflats and sandy beaches of South and Southeast Asia. Migratory. Insectivorous and invertebrate feeder.
