Stilt Sandpiper
Stilt Sandpiper: 20–23 cm, long-legged North American sandpiper with a drooping bill-tip and chestnut ear-patches in breeding plumage. Breeds on Arctic tundra of Canada and Alaska; winters on freshwater lagoons and shallow wetlands of Central and South America. Feeds by deep probing in soft mud. Long-distance migrant.

Sulawesi Woodcock: 32–36 cm, woodcock endemic to montane forest of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Nocturnal with cryptic brown plumage. Inhabits mossy forest above 1,000 m; probes leaf litter and soft soil for invertebrates. NT. Threatened by logging and agricultural conversion of highland forest. Sedentary island endemic.
