The Antioquia Brushfinch is a critically endangered sparrow-like bird from Colombia, weighing around 28 grams with a wingspan near 14 cm. Known from only a single location in Antioquia department, it faces imminent extinction due to habitat loss and its extremely limited range. It is among the rarest birds in South America.

Black-chested Sparrow

The Black-chested Sparrow is a medium-sized sparrow endemic to central Mexico, with a distinctive black breast patch, grey head with a white supercilium, and rufous-brown back. It inhabits arid and semi-arid scrub, thorn bush, and open pine-oak woodland in the interior of Mexico from Jalisco and Guanajuato south to Oaxaca. It feeds on seeds and insects.
