The Black-and-white Warbler is a distinctive North American wood warbler that creeps along tree trunks and branches like a nuthatch, foraging for insects in bark crevices. It has bold black and white streaked plumage with a white supercilium. It breeds in deciduous and mixed forests across much of North America, wintering from the southern United States to South America.
