African warblers (crombecs, longbills, and allies); ~18 species of small to medium insectivores in sub-Saharan Africa. Includes the short-tailed crombecs and the long-billed longbills. Active foragers in forest, woodland, and savanna. Many have complex songs. Recently established as a distinct African family.
