Sunbittern; a monotypic family containing only the Sunbittern of tropical Central and South America. Spectacular 'sun' display reveals vivid eye-spot markings on wings used to startle predators. Inhabits forested streams in lowland tropical rainforest. Superficially resembles a bittern but is unrelated.
