The Atlantic Black-throated Trogon is a colorful trogon found in the Atlantic Forest of eastern Brazil. Weighing about 56.9g, it has iridescent green upperparts and a yellow belly, foraging in the forest mid-story for insects and small fruits. It nests in cavities excavated in arboreal termite mounds or decaying wood.
