White-winged Trumpeter (Psophia leucoptera) is a 45–52 cm trumpeter of south-western Amazonia. Glossy black with conspicuous white inner wing feathers contrasting with black outer wings. Inhabits undisturbed lowland Amazonian forest in Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru. Social; lives in flocks of 3–12 birds with complex cooperative breeding.
