The Asian Fairy-bluebird is a strikingly beautiful bird of Southeast Asian forests, the male displaying brilliant iridescent blue upperparts contrasting with velvety black underparts. Weighing about 64g with a wingspan near 25cm, it inhabits the canopy of tropical rainforests. It feeds mainly on figs and other forest fruits.
