Madeira Laurel-pigeon (Columba trocaz) — 37–40 cm. Large dark grey pigeon; iridescent silver-pink neck patch; no white markings. Endemic to Madeira in dense laurisilva (laurel forest). Frugivore and granivore. Near Threatened; dependent on remaining laurel forest. Protected species.

Enggano Cuckoo-Dove

Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
