Rhagologidae

Mottled Whistler; a monotypic family containing only the Mottled Whistler of New Guinea's montane forests. A medium-sized, subtly patterned bird placed in its own family based on molecular evidence. Inhabits dense montane forest understory at mid to high elevations. Poorly studied.
