Silky-flycatchers; 4 species in Mexico, Central America, and the southwestern United States. Related to waxwings. Sleek, crested birds with soft, silky-textured plumage. Feed on berries and mistletoe fruits. The Phainopepla of southwestern North America is the most familiar member.
