Dapple-throat and allies; 3 species of poorly known, secretive birds endemic to montane forests of Tanzania. Include the Dapple-throat, Spot-throat, and Grey-chested Kakamega. Long placed in Old World babbler families; now classified as a distinct East African endemic family.
